By beating Texas Tech on Saturday, 67-58, the No. 2 Jayhawks didn’t just extend their win streak to nine games. They also clinched at least a share of another Big 12 regular season title. Bill Self and his boys can win it outright later tonight if they could beat No. 25 Texas. Kansas has already beaten Texas earlier this season, which was a 76-67 win in Lawrence on January 23.

The Longhorns, however, aren’t one to be taken lightly, as Texas are fresh off a 76-63 victory over No. 3 Oklahoma on Saturday. Kansas, which is averaging 82.1 points per game, is 4-0 ATS in its last four road games. Shaka Smart’s Longhorns, meanwhile, are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games.

Writer’s Prediction

Kansas wins, 74-71.

The Thunder have no choice but to move on from that bitter tasting 121-118 overtime loss to Golden State on Saturday. After a full day of rest, the Thunder travel to Sacramento later tonight to face the struggling Kings, who’ve won just five of their last 15 games.

Oklahoma City will look to take advantage of Sacramento’s soft defense that allows 109.2 points per game, the worst in the league. The Thunder are averaging 109.8 points per contest this season, but also need to play solid defense considering that Sacramento is third in the league in scoring with 107.1 PPG. The Thunder are 7-3 SU and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 road games.

Writer’s Prediction

Oklahoma City wins, 110-105.
