Atlanta Falcons vs. New Orleans Saints (8:25 PM ET)
Line: Atlanta Falcons (-3.5) vs. New Orleans Saints (+3.5) – view all NFL lines
The Atlanta Falcons continue to reign supreme over the NFC South with a unbeaten 5-0 record on the season. But there previous win opposite Washington on Sunday wasn’t a pretty one at all, as they only managed to slip by during the overtime period with the final score of 25-19.
Quarterback Matt Ryan wasn’t his usual self, completing just 24 of his 42 passes for 254 yards with zero touchdowns and two picks to his name. Then their star wide receiver in Julio Jones was kept in check for the second consecutive game, finishing with just 67 yards on five catches. Both will try to relocate their respective forms when they face off with the Saints this evening.
Speaking of the Saints, they’ve had a disappointing start to their 2015 campaign thus far, managing to only win one of their first five games. They’ll also be fresh off a 39-17 beating in the hands of the Eagles in Week 5 and Drew Brees, who converted 26 of his 43 passes for 335 yards in that contest, will have a big chip on his shoulders to lead his team to victory opposite the Falcons.
Dating all the way back to 2010, New Orleans has won six of its last 10 meetings with Atlanta.
