North Carolina will be out for revenge after suffering a heartbreaking 74-73 loss to Duke at Chapel Hill in their first meeting of the season. Brice Johnson will look for a repeat of his dominant performance, where he scored 29 points and grabbed 19 rebounds. UNC is 8-2 ATS in its last 10 visits to Cameron Indoor. However, the Blue Devils are 11-3 in their last 14 games against the Tar Heels, and 5-1 at home. Grayson Allen has been unstoppable since Feb. 1, averaging 23.4 PPG over nine games. Duke will also have Matt Jones back after the junior missed most of the first UNC matchup due to a sprained ankle.
Writer’s Prediction
Duke beats North Carolina again, 79-74.
Louisville Cardinals vs. Virginia Cavaliers (8:30 PM ET)
Line: Louisville Cardinals (+5.5) at Virginia Cavaliers (-5.5) – view all NCAA lines
The Louisville Cardinals must do something on Saturday that they haven’t done too often: beat a good team on the road. The Cards, who’ve gone just 1-8 ATS in their last nine road games, have lost five of their six games this season away from home. Four of those five losses were against Michigan State, Kentucky, Duke and Miami.
Meanwhile, Louisville’s lone home was dealt by the Hoos, who are a perfect 14-0 at home this season. Virginia’s excellent defense held the Cards to a season-low 47 points. Senior Malcolm Brogdon has been unstoppable of late. He’s averaging 22.4 PPG over his last five games.
Writer’s Prediction
Virginia completes the sweep of Louisville with a 65-59 win.
