Dayton is right in the mix for the Atlantic 10 regular season title. They’re just one game behind league leaders Saint Joseph’s and VCU for the top spot in the standings. The Flyers cannot afford a defeat with just two games to play this season. Richmond will be hoping to act as spoilers for Dayton’s chances of climbing the ladder. The Spiders are ready to go after blowing out Duquesne 83-67 on Saturday to end a three-game skid.

Betting on the Dayton Flyers (22-6)
Dayton suffered their third loss in the past four games Saturday against Rhode Island, 75-66. The Flyers need to have a big performance on the road against Richmond if they are to help their bid for the regular season crown.
The Flyers will look to Dyshawn Pierre to get them out of their rut. Pierre led the team with 17 points and 11 rebounds on Saturday. It was his fourth straight double-digit rebounding game. Charles Cooke was also pretty solid as the only other Flyer to score in double figures. He dropped 16 points on 5 of 11 shooting (2 of 5 from downtown).Pierre and Cooke may even be better in this game. Dayton got their third-leading scorer Kendall Pollard back against Richmond after missing four games due to a bone bruise in his knee. He scored eight points and grabbed four rebounds off the bench. Having gotten back to competition should help Pollard get back to normal. He’s averaging 10.9 points per game this season.
Dayton have an advantage on the boards. They’re ranked 77th in the nation with 38.2 rebounds per game. The Flyers are pretty good rebounders with three players averaging over five rebounds per game. Pierre leads the way with 8.4 rebounds per game this season. Richmond is ranked 321st in the nation with 32.4 rebounds per game.
The Flyers have won seven of their last 10 on the road.
Betting on the Richmond Spiders (15-3)
It’s senior night for the Richmond Spiders on Tuesday. They’ll play their last home game this season as they send their seniors riding off into the sunset. Senior Terry Allen should be good to go to entertain Richmond fans for the last time. He scored 25 points and grabbed eight rebounds in an 83-67 romp of Duquesne on Saturday.
Allen will have plenty of help. Junior T.J. Cline was spectacular with 23 points, five rebounds and seven assists Saturday. Meanwhile, ShawnDre’ Jones added 13 points for the Spiders. Having plenty of capable scorers should allow Richmond plenty of opportunities to score.
The Spiders’ offense has been solid this year with 77.5 points per game. Richmond is shooting in the A-10, making 48.9 percent of their field goal attempts this season. But their defense still leaves plenty to be desired. They’re allowing 74 points per game.
Richmond is 1-5 ATS in their last six at home.
